Job Description
3rd Line Technical Support Technician As a key member of the Information Technology Team, the Infrastructure Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that all aspects of Doctorlinks IT Infrastructure Infrastructure is well managed, maintained, and fit for purpose. Working closely with the team, we are looking for someone to help support business change through the use of technology, ensuring maximum efficiency, scalability and resilient IT systems, primarily using industry best practice frameworks to achieve these objectives, including ITIL and ISO20000. Responsibilities: * Supporting and developing infrastructure between two key locations * Ensuring the high availability of corporate systems that support internal employee business functions and aid external customer contact * Implementation, configuration and support of VPN connectivity * Implementation, configuration and support of network hardware, including router, firewall and switch deployments * Support and maintenance of remote access solutions * Install, configure and manage Microsoft Active Directory Domains including all core components, including DNS, DHCP, Sites and Services, Terminal Server, Users and Computers * SAN Management, installation, configuration and maintain SAN environments, including replication technologies, performance monitoring and remedial actions * Liaising with third party suppliers as required Requirements * * The ideal person will be a technical architect to supervise and participate in the implementation of technologies and platforms supporting corporate voice and data networks cloud-focused * Have a good working knowledge of virtual infrastructures, including server and desktop virtualisation using Hyper-V hypervisor and VMware * Experience installing, configuring and managing physical and virtual server and desktops, infrastructures * Experience of infrastructure capacity management and integration of network and server infrastructures * Knowledge of network topology design and support, including network routing and configuration * Supporting desktop user demands for desktop PC deployments as required * Knowledge of ISO20000 and ITIL best practices Benefits Benefits Whats in it for me? * Incredible support, tools and the training to excel in your career * Youll get to work in one of our tech hubs in either Covent Garden in London or Beaconsfield in Buckinghamshire. * An excellent compensation package including a healthcare cash-plan, 5% pension, bonus, Life assurance, 25 days leave, employee discount platform including 20% off restaurants in Covent Garden and of course all the usual free food and drink.
