Shift: 4 on 4 off (nights) Salary: 11.12/h + night shift allowance A self motivated and driven individual to take on the full responsibility of all issues related to hygiene within the stores / repack and fulfilment centres. Managing all aspects of hygiene including scheduled and ad hoc cleaning, making sure that procedures are fit for purpose, adhered to correctly and associated paperwork is completed accurately. The role also includes completion of root cause analysis and driving associated corrective actions on any non-conformances raised by internal and external hygiene audits. This position will also manage the hygiene validations and the ongoing verification process of these validations, which would include allergen and microbiological swabbing and the use of ATP machines. This job entails not only completing some of the cleaning tasks, but also working collaboratively with other departments and recruitment agencies to help aid this process and to improve hygiene standards around both sites. What youll do Ensuring we have robust hygiene systems and cleaning instruction cards for all equipment and all areas. Delivering cleaning training as and when required. Ensure the completion of hygiene schedules to ensure the plant and the environment are maintained to a high hygiene standard through effective deployment of resources and forward planning. Responsible for ensuring that the required quality, safety, hygiene and environmental standards are implemented, maintained and improved. Responsible for supporting the engineering function in monitoring routine preventative maintenance cleaning schedules. To meet with suppliers to optimise chemical cleaning and equipment to ensure optimum effectiveness for the job. Keep abreast of new and innovative ways to clean. To lead and manage internal and external hygiene audits. Respond to audit reports, corrective action summaries to ensure work is carried out to an agreed timescale and manner. Manage the stock of chemical and lab consumables used on site and order relevant quantities when required. Full ownership of the on-line Hygiene system. Make sure hygiene cleaning is completed to relevant Health & Safety standards. Skills & Experience required Previous experience in a hygiene role. COSHH trained. Good accuracy and attention to detail. Be familiar with document control procedures and managing schedules. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers. Drive, energy and enthusiasm. Pragmatic and hands-on approach to the position. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work on one's own and be self motivated. Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. Excellent IT skills including experience of Google applications including Google Docs and Google Sheets.
