Developer in Test / SDET - Agile, Java, JavaScript, Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, TDD, WebdriverIO, Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, Micro-Services Working with a leading retailer with the Fashion industry, we are on the search for a smart & enthusiastic Software Developer in Test, with a strong knowledge of agile methodologies and technical testing, you will engage proactively with your team to understand business requirements and develop automated tests to maximise the effectiveness of in-sprint and regression testing. This role will give the Developer in Test full ownership of their work, where they will be tasked with designing, building and implementing best-fit test practices, to ensure that their high standards are kept throughout. Being part of the engineering team following modern scrum practices, you will work closely with the QA Manager, Product Owners and Development Leads to ensure efficient test coverage and to drive quality delivery. Required Experience: * Extensive programming experience in JavaScript(preferred) and/or Java * Experience using Selenium Webdriver for cross browser regression testing * Experience in building modular and scalable test automation frameworks from scratch for a variety of applications covering web & responsive web * Extensive experience with quality assurance tools, practices, and techniques * Significant experience of testing eCommerce solutions * Understanding of agile methodologies such as test-driven development, continuous integration, agile testing * Experience of CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, ConcourseCI, etc. and Build tools like Maven, Gradle, etc Desired Experience: * Experience with JavaScript testing tools (especially WebdriverIO) * Experience with automated visual testing tools * Experience in the Retail industry * Exposure to microservices architecture, docker containerisation, and CICD * Knowledge of restful web services and experience of automated API testing * Project/Issue tracking tools such as Jira * Test Management tools such as Zephyr, Quality Center or similar If you are ambitious and love working in a busy environment where every day is new, then this is the place to be!
