At Carpenders Care Limited, we provide a wide range of practical help and support to people in the community who, because of extreme frailty, disability or illness, require assistance in their own homes. We assist them to stay living in their own homes, close to their loved ones and local community. . The Caregiver will plan and follow a daily care schedule with clients, modify care plans as prescribed by medical professionals, and report on any new conditions or needs that may arise.We are seeking an attentive and trustworthy Care worker to join our staff in providing excellent care to our clients - we have got full-time and part-time opportunities available. To succeed as a Care Worker you should be patient, empathetic and have strong people's skills. You should be observant and committed to making your client feel safe and comfortable. Responsibilities * Assisting with personal care, which may include bathroom functions, bathing, grooming, dressing, and eating. * Following a prescribed health care plan, which may include assisting with exercise and administering medication. * Ensuring the client's home is organized according to their needs and that safety measures are in place. You may also be expected to assist with some light housework. * Providing emotional support and encouragement to perform necessary tasks. * Providing mobility assistance may be required, for example helping the client in and out of bed, a chair, or a wheelchair. * Transporting or escorting the client to medical and other appointments. * Monitoring and reporting changes in health, behaviour, and needs. We are looking for people who are as passionate about providing care as we are, to help support our clients to live independently in their own homes. We cover Pinner, Harrow, Rayners Lane, Northwood, Rickmansworth, Watford and surrounding areas and would ideally like people who live locally in neighbouring areas. - Car drivers or local residents are preferred - Flexible hours (Ft and Pt hours available) - Previous experience preferred but not required as full training will be given - Competitive rates - Excellent training and support provided
