Job Description

We are currently supporting an innovative, family run SME, who are seeking a experienced Quality Engineer to join their team based in Winchester, UK. As a Quality Engineer will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective The company are a forward thinking, innovative customer orientated organisation, with the core values of "Solutions, Humility, Care & Trust". Key responsibilities and duties of this role... * Maintain and provide ongoing development of ISO accreditations (ISO9001 and ISO14001) and H&S systems. * Implement, maintain and provide ongoing development of IATF16949 accreditation. * Carry out associated activities for accreditation's (such as APQPs, PPAPs, FMEAs etc). * Ensure all quality related documentation is kept up to date and inline with changing regulations and standards. * Perform internal audits and supplier audits * Manage non-conformance process and ensure all quality concerns are investigated (CAPA's & NCR's) * Responsibility for calibration of all relevant testing and measuring equipment. * Execute mutually beneficial supplier development activities. * Lead and champion a QA culture within the business. * Structure QA systems to be easy to use by everyone in the organisation and provide relevant training HOURS: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.00pm Requirements The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and qualifications... * Experienced Quality Assurance Engineer within the Automotive manufacturing sector * Experienced in audits (ideally internal audit qualified) * Excellent communication skills * Problem solving mind-set with a can do attitude. * Excellent ability to multitask and a self-starter * Practically minded and focused on job completion Benefits * 35,000 - 45,000 (DOE) * Company car or car allowance * Company related bonus * Free lunch and snacks every day. * Flexible employee benefits package (Lifeworks) * Training provided
