Job Description

* We are looking for a Power BI developer to build the data brand within the business and have direct impact of how senior managers utilise and drive decisions on data. You will need to be flexible to ad hoc data requests from the business whilst also understanding the wider impact of your work on the data estate. * Help drive a data driven culture across Footasylum * Work with business stakeholders to develop new business solutions within Power BI * Working with Head of Data Strategy to ensure legacy reporting is redeveloped using relevant metrics alongside accommodating new requests. * Develop a working relationship with employees at our ML partner, Peak.AI * Creating and contributing to a fun, healthy, honest and happy team dynamic. * Work with other teams within the I.T department to ensure best practices and processes are in place * Building relationships and trust with stakeholders across all areas to create a clear shared understanding of the expectations and the outcomes that will be achieved. THE OPPORTUNITY As part of an investment in data and technology, Footasylum needs a Power BI developer to help progress the exciting work that has already started, transforming how the business can utilise data to drive decisions from board level through to analysts.Working alongside the current BI team, you should have a passion for ensuring accurate data is available, resilient and relevant to ensure business decisions can be made. You should be comfortable working with business stakeholders to understand requirements, develop accurate and future proof data solutions within Power BI. The end goal for a more proactive data department should excite you and your career goals should match the businesses plans to move to cloud technology, embrace new analytical tools and drive data usage across Footasylum. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE Essential * Knowledge of Power BI and Data Visualisation Tools * At least 3 years' experience in a data/analytics role * Development of new data solutions based on business requirements * T-SQL understanding * Experience of dimensional models, star schemas and OLAP cubes. * Used to working with a data process that includes development, test & release Desirable * Developing solutions for retail, logistics or ecommerce. * Building of solutions in cloud technology * Experience of machine learning
