Overview
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Community Nurse to work on a locum basis in partnership with a specialist community care provider based in Southampton. As a Locum Community Nurse, you will be working in close partnership with a local hospital and NHS services, with this particular role focusing primarily on IV therapy in the comfort of the patient's own home. As a Community Nurse, you will oversee a caseload of approximately 4 to 5 patients per day providing excellent standards of education and clinical care. There is a very attractive hourly/day rate on offer as follows: £27 - £32 per hour OR £200 - £240 per day You will be given continuous work with the flexibility to work between 30 and 37.5 hours per week. Key criteria for a Locum Community Nurse include: * Registered General Nurse with active NMC PIN * Full UK driving licence with access to your own car * Experience of community based work is desirable but not essential * Experience within the acute setting and competent in the administration of IV treatments - essential * Availability to start within the next 4 weeks If you feel you have the necessary skills and experience to excel as a specialist Community Nurse on a locum basis, please click "APPLY" or contact Sam from Leaders in Care on 020 3854 9997 for further information.
