Job Description
The Enterprise Architect (Manager) defines IT strategy and vision in response to business objectives and proposes the terms of reference for its delivery (the business technology roadmap); he/she also provides IT governance guidance and effectively communicates transformational program changes to the stakeholders and the wider IT audience. Reporting to the CTO, this role is critical to the achievement of core business objectives ranging from optimizing IT costs to enabling business transformation and innovation. As Enterprise Architect (Manager), you will be shifting your attention between IT-focused and business-focused activities. These may include service planning and roadmapping, application portfolio rationalization, technology/process/data standardization, value stream and capability design, business and ecosystem partner service orchestration, customer experience design, and journey mapping. As Enterprise Architect (Manager), you will leverage your industry and business expertise, your holistic mind-set and cross-enterprise perspective, and your ability to manage multiple time horizons to empower LSEG organizations to reach their business outcomes and digital aspirations. Partnering with customers, suppliers, infrastructure, information and solution architects you will be delivering and driving Enterprise Architecture program objectives. Key Responsibilities * Plan, facilitate and support execution of strategic business technology plans and roadmaps * Play a central role in the development and delivery of an integrated Group strategy through partnership with business teams * Guide and facilitate the establishment of technology standards * Develop strong partnerships with business lines and their customers to develop strategic and innovative solutions * Develop high-level architectural strategies, blueprints, and technology service target states that enable the delivery teams to further define the solution architecture * Provide recommendations based on industry knowledge and understanding of enterprise capabilities that support the business transformation plans and roadmaps * Assess technology portfolios and map them to business technology roadmaps and transformation plans * Build customer journeys and solution scenarios aligned with cloud strategy * Define integration architecture working closely with Solution Architects to select and apply technologies required to integrate disparate systems and information providers * Collaborate and guide M&A IT due diligence efforts, facilitate pre-merger activities and business model evaluations * Administer and manage EA team tools, frameworks, repositories * Communicate vision, business impact, and priorities to internal and external stakeholders * Help business leaders make strategic decisions by running on-demand business/technology strategy workshops Key Behaviours * Passionate about technology with an interest in the latest trends (e.g. cloud/data science) * Creative, results driven, self-motivated, and solution-oriented * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Experience managing or influencing key, senior decision makers * Attention to detail but an ability to think laterally to provide solutions * Demonstrates a can-do attitude, exhibits self-confidence * Excellent organizational and time management skills * Be a leader: act as an enterprise IT consultant providing technical knowledge, coaching/mentoring, guidelines and leadership * Ability to liaise with business and non business people * Able to establish credibility quickly Candidate Profile / Key Skills * Demonstrate transformational leadership and provide mentoring with relevant communities * Ability to drive inclusive teams and embrace cross cultural environments demonstrating expertise in communications and interactions across cultures * Demonstrate business knowledge with business decision makers and internal stakeholders * Demonstrate deep technology and digital knowledge and ability to apply horizontal solutions when developing roadmaps and transformation plans. * Capacity to derive actionable insights from data * Comfort with working in highly unstructured environments where responsibilities and lines of authority are unclear * Ability to interface with cross-functional teams internally and externally * Desire to continuously learn and improve individual competencies * Advisory competency in thought leadership of business and technology strategy and innovations * Experience in capital markets, post-trade, data architecture * Familiarity with business transformation scenarios: business /service model innovation, M&A, vendor mgmt, marketing and sales insights, customer experience, product innovation People are at the heart of what we do and drive the success of our business.
