Job Description
Stevenswood have a great opportunity for an Branch Assistant to join the team at our Edinburgh Sighthill branch where you will ensure that our trade customers get the best support and service. Branch Assistant Role: Providing a great service is at the heart of what we do - utilising your great people skills and product knowledge you will build strong relationships with our trade customers, generate accurate quotations for jobs using Window designer, up-sell, answer queries and resolve issues as they arise. You will also contact potential customers to introduce Stevenswoods services and, as part of a small team, you will also help support the wider branch operations as required. Branch Assistant Skills & Experience: * Experience of accurately processing quotations and orders is highly desirable * Product knowledge of 'Windows and Doors' is an advantage * Strong people skills, with the ability to develop rapport with trade customers is essential * The ability to work well in a small team and deliver great customer service - finding solutions and thinking on your feet is essential * The successful candidate will be self-motivated, have strong attention to detail skills, have the confidence to make outbound contact to our customer base, and thrive working in a sales focused environment * A confident IT user (MS Office) - window designer or similar is an advantage but not essential as training can be provided * Previous experience might include: Order Processor, Trade Counter Assistant, Customer Service Assistant Working @ Stevenswood: Join the team and receive: * Highly competitive basic & branch bonus * Hours of work are Monday to Friday - no Saturday working! * 33 days holiday a year (including statutory) & the option to buy or sell 2 days * Pension with 2.5% employee contribution and life assurance to 3 x salary * Enhanced maternity / paternity pay & childcare vouchers * Income protection scheme & medical expenses support (ie opticians / dentist) * Big brand savings - restaurants, travel, gym membership & cinemas for example Stevenswood are a dedicated uPVC and Aluminium window, door, glass, conservatory and accessory trade supplier, with a fast-growing branch network across the UK.
