**Enterprise Sales Executive II..New and Existing Accounts** **London, United Kingdom** Sales/Sales Engineering 14 hours ago Post Date 020659 Requisition # The Enterprise Sales Specialist is a front line individual contributor responsible for articulating Akamai's Enterprise Vision and hunting net new business. The focus is on managing the Enterprise opportunity pipeline to deliver consistent quarterly results. You can quickly identify which customers represent immediate and medium term opportunity and allocate your time and the company's resources to the real prospective deals. You have a very deliberate and ongoing process of building pipeline opportunities as well as closing and meeting sales quotas. **About the Team** Akamai Enterprise and Carrier (E&C) division is Akamai's newest and fastest growing division, with high expectations to become Akamai's next $1B business. We are responsible for developing and selling Enterprise Networking, Enterprise Security, and Enterprise Application Access products to enable customer Enterprise IT and Security teams. These solutions provide fast and reliable enterprise apps in customer branches, help mitigate endpoint malware and phishing attempts, and provide safer, easier, and faster application access. Ultimately, our goal is to secure, protect, and accelerate all Enterprise communications as a service in the cloud. The division consists of product management, engineering, sales and technical pre-sales, product marketing, business development, and product support, and works closely with several other groups within Akamai and external partners. **Responsibilities** + Manage full-cycle sales process through qualification, needs analysis, product demonstration, negotiation and close + Lead the POC process by documenting key success criteria agreed with the customer. + Drive the adoption of Akamai Enterprise solutions into the existing customer base + SalesForce.com hygiene to accurately forecast opportunity, Sales Stage and timing. + Deliver compelling vision presentations linking to Network and IT Transformation + Articulate and demonstrate product concepts to a business and technical audience + Meet/exceed monthly and quarterly goals + Travel up to 30% **Required Skills and Qualification** + Bachelor's Degree in business or related field + Enterprise sales experience in security, networking or related SaaS + History of consistently exceeding individual sales goals and targets + Trained in recognized a sales methodology such as Miller Heiman or Force Management **Desired Skills** + Experience in B2B environment preferably in Internet services/software. + Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills + Strong drive to achieve, learn. + Ability to work well in ambiguous situations + Flexibility and Adaptability; Open to new ideas + Research skills; Ability to identify and distill appropriate data + Detail-oriented, with ability to manage multiple priorities + Excellent verbal communication skills with experience presenting ideas to senior management and customers.
