Senior Manager - Group Finance

Job Description
The Senior Manager, Group Finance role reports into the Head of Group Finance. We are looking for an experienced finance professional to manage the global finance function consisting of global financial reporting, audit, treasury and tax matters. The role will include building and developing a robust finance function to support continued growth. The role has 2 direct reports. Financial Reporting and Audit * Preparation of monthly management accounts, working with regional finance heads, co-ordinate the monthly timelines, consolidate results and commentary for the leadership team * Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations, completion and review of required supporting schedules for the month end process, reconciliation of intercompany transactions and balances, stock, fixed and intangible asset management * Coordinating year-end preparation, close process and statutory consolidation of all subsidiaries * Work with tax team on tax accounts and computations * Internal control and compliance; identify system and process improvements to improve output of the finance function * Responsibility for NetSuite improvements, inclusive of testing Treasury & Tax * Manage cash balances and working to satisfy cash flow requirements * Preparation of Short-term Cash Flow forecast * Responsible for VAT, Intrastat and EC Sales listings * Work with external tax accountants globally to assist with the preparation of annual tax returns, computations, capital allowances and other related matters * Preparation of annual research and development claims * Ownership of intercompany reconciliations Requirements * Qualified Accountant * Experience working in the retail sector * Excellent technical skill set and experience with IFRS * Knowledge of taxation issues * Record of process improvements * Management experience * Extensive month end and financial reporting experience * NetSuite experience is preferable Benefits * Dog friendly office. * Generous staff discount to use on all products. * Access to Tilbury Treats - our very own rewards platform allowing you to save money and gain 'money can't buy' discounts on anything from gym memberships to cinema tickets. * Other fabulous benefits such as life assurance, birthdays off work, team sales incentives and many more.
