Job Description Job Purpose The QA Team are responsible for ensuring quality across all products within LeoVegas UK. As a QA Analyst, you will be involved in creating positive and negative user journeys, as well as functional/non-functional testing across multiple platforms for LeoVegas sites and applications. Working with our In-house Product Owners and Developers to review requirements, you will also give feedback on how to improve the product before the release to ensure the best user experience. You will also have a keen eye for detail to stop bugs in the products and report findings to the team. Role Responsibilities * Analysing requirements and stories/features to derive test cases * Creating and maintaining test scripts * Manual test script execution * Defect logging and retesting * Use of test management and defect tracking tools * Reporting daily progress on test preparation and test execution tasks * Production release testing and production testing Essential Qualities * Hands-on experience as a Functional Test Analyst/QA/SDET * Experience of testing web and mobile applications * Experience with some form of coding, preferably JavaScript * Ability to work under own initiative * Ability to liaise directly with Product Owners, Business Analysts and SMEs to resolve queries and problems * Well organised and high attention to detail * Able to prioritize and handle multiple priorities Desirable but not essential * Experience with Git or other version control system is desired * Experience with automated testing tools such as webdriverIO, mocha, selenium and postman * Experience of testing on gambling platforms * ISQTB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing * Supporting business users during UAT * Use of Jira and TestRail in the testing process * Use of Slack, Confluence and Google Suite * Experience with non-functional testing Additional Information As soon as you start you will have: * A competitive starting salary * Working 37.5 hours a week * We can welcome and onboard you remotely during these covid-19 times (this role will be office based following the re-opening of our office in Newcastle) * A robust coaching culture with the option to take part in confidential formal coaching programmes * A unique and semi-flexible talent and development programme * Company pension scheme * Health and wellbeing activities such as weekly yoga classes over Zoom (and in the office when we can go back there!)
