Thai Sous Chef - Beaconsfield Job Type: Permanent Salary: 29,570 Per Annum Benefits: 28 days holiday rising by 1 day per year to 33 days 50% staff and family discount for all Crazy Bear venues 300 recruitment incentive Meals on duty (am & pm) Pension scheme Accommodation is also available The Venue: The Crazy Bear Beaconsfield is a unique oasis in the heart of the beautiful Old Town. Just minutes from M40 J2 and less than 30 minutes from London Marylebone by train. The Crazy Bear is a flamboyant and eccentric hotel, offering 33 extravagantly designed bedrooms with AA 5 star accommodation, English and Thai restaurants with 2AA rosette cuisine and Michelin guide recognition, public and private bars, private function rooms, terrace with outdoor swimming pool, and Thai massage. The Role: We are seeking a talented and passionate Thai Sous Chef to join our talented brigade. Key responsibilities are to produce high quality high volume food, maintaining high levels of hygiene control, be an excellent leader who is able to empower the kitchen team through motivation, mentoring, be financially astute to produce costic menus in line with set budgets whilst able to produce production figures. The ideal candidate must have strong all round catering skills, city and guilds 706/3 or NVQ level 3 or quality in food preparation, CIEH level 3 hygiene, experience of working in a similar environment. Suitable candidates will be responsible for the preparing of both traditional and modern Thai dishes, assist the head chef in the management and running of the kitchen. Why join The Crazy Bear?
