Company Description Company Profile: SPS Aerostructures Limited manufactures precision machined components, sheet metal fabrications, and avionics assemblies for commercial airliners, military jets, and helicopters. The company was founded in 1984 and is based in Annesley, Mansfield and Rugby in the United Kingdom. SPS Aerostructures Limited operates as a subsidiary of Precision Castparts Corp - PCC Aerostructures. Job Description Purpose: Focal point for all matters relating to the customer. Responsibilities * Service the needs of customers by resolving customer scheduling / requirement issues. * Ensure that Customer Orders comply with contractual agreements and reschedules and exceptions are managed within the contractual terms. * To manage and control the acceptance of customer requirements and ensure their input to Avante so that customer requirements are understood, and in liaison with the Production Controller ensure before acceptance that production is achievable. * Monitor Customer Order status and progress of parts in production.Flag concerns and changes to priority to Production Control. * Maintain professional business relationships with key stakeholders to achieve service levels and attain a high reputation for integrity both internally and externally. * Liaising with the Sales team where necessary to highlight any necessary issues. * Work closely with Purchasing to resolve supply problems. * Host and manage customers whilst on site and ensure that their activities are controlled within company procedures. * To work in a safe manner in order to satisfy Health and Safety legislation and to avoid accident or injury to people, machinery or property. * To be aware of and comply with relevant aspects of the Company's Quality Policy and Procedures. * Carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required within the jobholder's capability consistent with Terms and Conditions of employment. Qualifications Experiences * Experience in the use of all the Microsoft Office software is essential. * Minimum of HNC in Engineering or equivalent discipline preferred, experience and knowledge of engineering production methods is also preferred. * Sound Commercial and Business acumen is preferred. Skills and Competencies * Excellent communication skills; written, verbal, interpersonal and listening, and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels internally and externally * High level of professionalism and integrity operates to the highest ethical standards. * Maintain confidentiality and use discretion at all times * Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise and follow up * High level of resilience * Ability to achieve results even when under pressure * Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy * Has a positive attitude and be motivated by the role * Flexible, adaptable to change Additional Information Salary: 25000 - 27000 per annum Qualifications: Experiences Experience in the use of all the Microsoft Office software is essential.
