Assist in preparing and delivering excellent standards of food quality at all times, paying particular attention to brand specifications to make sure all dishes are cooked and delivered right first time Do you fit our job specification? Person Specification: - Passionate - Hard Working, - Resilient, - Have a "Can Do Attitude", - A great Team Player, - Pride in what you do, - Commitment, - High Levels of Energy & Drive, - Able to stay calm and focused under pressure Key Accountabilities: DELIVER FOR OUR CUSTOMERS - Deliver the offer for every customer every time - Assist in preparing and delivering food to the brand standards and to the satisfaction of the customer - Carry out open and close-down procedures at specific times and required standard - Monitor and notify stock levels - Complete prep and par requirements as instructed - Return all crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils to the designated areas after being cleaned DELIVER FOR OUR TEAMS - Be part of friendly, fun, efficient and effective team - Love your job - demonstrate a positive attitude all day every day - Communicate with all the team and develop great working relationships with all team members - Approach working with a positive, upbeat nature, taking the initiative to improve the way we do things - Ability to work a variety of shifts including weekends, days, afternoons and evenings - Carry out any reasonable request that may be made by your Manager and any other member of the management team - Complete company training and development as required DELIVER TO OUR SHARE HOLDERS - Maintain accurate reports and records - Deliver the offer for every customer, every time to make sure all dishes are right first time, cooked and delivered to brand specification, that hot food is served hot and preventing poor food standards from leaving the kitchen CLEAN AND LEGAL - Maintain a spotlessly clean kitchen - Maintain the standards of personal hygiene, dress and appearance as detailed by your manager - Report any defective equipment to your Manager as soon as possible - Follow company safety and security procedures and deliver high standards - Store all food correctly, handling food correctly during preparation, cooking and service - Wash and dry crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and utensils using appropriate cleaning methods as directed by the management team. - Clean the kitchen and equipment using the appropriate cleaning methods as directed by the management team - Ensure that the wash-up area is maintained in a clean and tidy condition and is equipped with necessary supplies - Dispose of waste food and recycling in the right way, in a safe and hygienic manner Personal Benefits: - Competitive pay and holiday - 33% Discount on Food & Drink in all our Managed pubs - 25% discount for Friends & Family in al our managed pubs - Up to 50% Discounted Hotel Breaks in Greene King hotels - Save As You Earn (Share scheme) - Pension Scheme - Employee Assistance Programme
