Enterprise Greenfield Business Development Manager Job context - Enterprise Digital Transformation engagements Enterprise Digital transformation is a shift in technology investment and deployment but it goes far beyond technology. It is a whole scale change to the foundational components of a business, from its operating model to its infrastructure and will impact also processes and company culture. The main drivers that push an Enterprise to start a Digital Transformation journey are changes of consumers demand, changes of technology and change of competition landscape. Cloud is the enabler of this journey but and that means leveraging social, mobile, analytics and computerization of business processes to accelerate the time to value of Enterprise goals. Job Profile It's still Day 1 for many organizations who are moving to the cloud, these early-stage companies often have questions about how to start their cloud journey, and they are asking AWS for prescriptive guidance on how to get started, on how to accelerate their first projects and build solid foundations to scale their cloud adoption. As a business development manager for Greenfield, you will have an exciting opportunity shape and deliver the program for customers who are just getting started with AWS. You will lead engagements with business and technical executives to work backwards from their corporate goals to identify how AWS can help accelerate achievement of their goals. You will also work with account teams to help them identify ways AWS can solve our customers' biggest challenges. In addition, you will build ways to track customer impact, and use your experience to help improve our engagement model and scale the program worldwide. You must be effective at facilitating sessions with senior leaders around their business goals. In this role you will work with cross-functional teams as part of the program delivery and development. Typically cross-functional collaboration includes business development teams, solutions architecture, marketing, partners, professional services, sales enablement, sales operations, and international business development teams. Role & Responsibilities Facilitate workshops with customer executives to work backwards from their business goals to identify how Cloud can accelerate achievement of their goals Work with local Sales teams on customer nominations and qualification, prepare prior to the customer engagement, and follow up to ensure workshop delivered the desired customer outcomes Work in conjunction with the BD team and with the larger pursuit team (Account Managers, ProServe, Solution Architects, Partners, Legal) in order to identify customer business dynamics, discover customer changes and outcomes and identify new or potential broad opportunities. Analyze large data to uncover patterns and derive business insights and new opportunities. Periodically present progress to executive leadership. Conduct customer briefings, present at customer events, further AWS thought leadership in how to help customers get started on AWS. Key activities and responsibilities Facilitate workshops with customer executives to work backwards from their business goals to identify how Cloud can accelerate achievement of their goals Work in conjunction with the BD team and with the larger pursuit team (Account Managers, Pro Serve, Solution Architects, Partners, Legal) in order to discover our customers business dynamics, and outcomes and identify new or potential broad opportunities Help EMEA field GF AMs nurture new or existing GF opportunities Together with Sales Enablement team, help build the necessary program skills of field GF AMs to help our customers with their journey on Cloud. Periodically present progress to executive leadership. Communicate results and get constant feedback from customers and/or senior management Skills/background Experience in sales/GTM/products/solution/program management within technology, telco or business consulting companies Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences
