You'll support people with learning disabilities and autism at home and in the community to live life more freely. You don't necessarily need experience as we provide full training. You'll join our friendly team, enabling a gentleman with a learning disability and autism living in his own home, in all aspects of daily living; from cooking to managing finances. Supporting with personal care and medication needs is also key. As a support worker you will be resilient and confident to provide support to people who at times communicate through their behaviour. If you're new to social care, we will support you gain the nationally recognised Care Certificate, as well as any specific training that will ensure you are fully equipped to undertake your role and provide quality support . If you have experience as a care assistant or care worker in a care home, you'll discover we provide plenty of on-going training, support to achieve relevant qualifications and career progression.
