Job Description
Role Purpose Perform a critical "front line" role in the management of 3rd party supplier risk by managing the assessment of risk and the completion of due diligence at supplier on-boarding, in addition to wider activities which support the effectiveness of the Group Procurement function. Role Responsibilities - Undertake risk assessment of new suppliers prior to on-boarding and contracting, and manage to a schedule of on-going risk reviews as defined/required. - Manage and where possible mitigate 3rd party risk by ensuring completion of risk based due diligence, coordinating with other Group Procurement teams, the business stakeholders, suppliers and other internal functions such as Legal, Risk, Information Security etc. - Manage a complex range of parallel activities and interfaces (including escalations) with the above stakeholders in order to successfully enable on-boarding of new suppliers, whilst minimizing the time to on-board where possible. - Challenge and escalate stakeholder responses or issues during on-boarding to ensure all risks are fully understood, articulated and managed in line with LSEG standards; use judgement and effective stakeholder communications to ensure a thorough and robust risk assessment is completed for all new suppliers. - Act as subject matter expertise in relation to current LSEG 3rd party risk and due diligence standards, and operationalize continual enhancements/developments in supplier risk standards and procedures. Contribute to activities which broaden and enhance Group Procurement's over-arching 3rd party risk management approach including working with geographically remote Procurement teams to standardize and/or customize approaches to risk management at on-boarding. - Co-ordinate the completion of annual health checks on Tier 1 suppliers. - Support the wider Group Procurement team as required to execute defined Procurement Operations processes that enable the wider team to be best in class (including spend analytics and reporting, demand management, stakeholder engagement and tooling). Minimum Requirements - Some experience in Procurement in an operational capacity is required. - Experience/understanding of common 3rd party supplier risk management considerations and approaches is desired. - Strong analytical skills. - Strong stakeholder engagement skills; able to quickly foster positive relationships day to day which lead to the right results.
