Job Description

LiquidMetrix is seeking an experienced Senior Web Developer to join a growing Development team and help design and deliver modern web solutions for the business. They must be familiar with modern UI frameworks and have a proven track record in designing high quality architectures while delivering clean and professional Web interfaces. The position provides the opportunity for a chosen candidate to help further develop the LiquidMetrix product suite, help deliver a roadmap for greenfield development whilst also contributing to a highly successful existing codebase. This is also an opportunity to contribute to the overall design process so an interest in web design is welcomed. The candidate will also be required to play an active role in mentoring the existing team. + Working with Product Management delivering high quality web functionality + Liaising with senior development and Software Architect to devise best strategy on implementation + Documenting and developing new functionality and enhancements + Tracking and communicating work status via a standard approach + 5+ years of professional experience with the following technologies: + .NET (C#) or an equivalent object oriented or functional programming language + NET, HTML, CSS and UI patterns such as MVC + Popular Java Script toolkits such as Vue.js, React or AngularJS + SQL Server or an equivalent RDBMS + Ability to write efficient and reliable code + Ability to offer design expertise and quickly create prototype design options for stakeholders + Experience designing complex software systems and APIs + Experience of concurrent programming + Experience with CI/CD principles and tools + Ability to maintain and refactor an existing code base + Familiarity with Version Control Systems such as Git + Ability to write clear technical documentation + The following attributes are desirable: + Knowledge of financial markets + Experience of working with large-scale data sets + Experience with Cloud computing, specifically AWS (Redshift, S3, Kinesis) + An interest in BI Visualisation Tools such as Tableau and Sisense ID: 2019-2922 External Company Name: Institutional Shareholder Services Inc External Company URL: www.issgovernance.com Street: 1 London Bridge
