Position: Corporate Affairs Manager, CEETII (Central, Eastern Europe, Turkey, Israel and India) Location: Uxbridge Overall Framework for the Role * The CA Manager CEETII reports into the Cluster's CA Lead * The CA Manager will be tasked with implementing the CA Plans set for the Cluster, in alignment and partnership with the CA Lead * Need to collaborate across the matrix with all LT departments and BU leads at a manager counsel level * Need to partner and speak with authority and experience, in alignment with professional track record * The position plays a pivotal role within our local & regional organization, adding fundamentally to the success of our current portfolio and product pipeline across all therapeutic areas. This position may require international travel (up to 25%). Main responsibilities: Strategic Direction : * Under the leadership of the CA Lead for the CEETII, support the development of the CA strategy and drive the implementation of tactical plan, aligned to the commercial priorities. Strategic input to be provided in the areas of corporate reputation, product communications, patient advocacy relations and employee engagement. Product Communications & Reputation Management * Aligned to the Cluster's commercial strategy implement a Corporate Affairs strategy to build the Company's corporate reputation mobilizing the worldwide corporate narrative, mission, vision and values and the story for BMS in CEETII and its countries * Working with local communicators to support the top priority product launches with an integrated communications plan and supporting them to execute in partnership with local agencies * Develop communications to lay the foundations / shape the market access environment (e.g. regulatory milestones) for forthcoming launches (e.g. disease awareness, third party engagement, education etc) * Execute agreed activity via media relations, digital communications, PAG engagement, third party / industry body / association engagement * Support Cluster markets in the execution of their digital strategies, including development and posting of content, alongside monitoring, reporting and measuring with the agency * Support the preparation and management of issues impacting our reputation * Ensure local Corporate Affairs activities comply with company standards of business conducts and ethics, industry Code of Conduct and legal requirements * Develop metrics to track where we are now, agree where we want to be and measure effectively against this Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement: * Work closely with the Market Access, Government Affairs & Advocacy Team in implementing integrated external engagement plans targeted towards patient advocacy organizations, media, and other relevant groups (eg, trade associations, HTA) who influence the public discussion around the environment for optimal therapeutic innovation and patient access * Facilitate the inclusion of the patient and caregiver voice among cross-functional international and/or Cluster projects (e.g. access, medical affairs, employee engagement) Internal Communications and Employee Engagement : * In partnership with the CEETII CA Lead, input in the development and support the implementation of an internal employee engagement communications plan around the company mission, vision, values and commercial strategy / story to motivate and mobilize all employees * Partner with HR and Strategy & Operations in execution of the employee engagement plan - in agreement with the GM * In partnership with the CEETII Lead develop an approach to and measure employee engagement around company milestones/ initiatives and strategy Education, Qualifications and Skills: * Degree required - BA communications discipline, business or sciences * 10+ years of related experience in positions of CA responsibility * Pharmaceutical / biopharma / healthcare sector experience preferred * Superior written and oral communication skills * Strong project management capability * Strong digital channel capability * Excellent ability to forge relationships and partner with colleagues across the departments * Good understanding of the healthcare and political environment in CEETII Cluster preferred * Discretion when handling sensitive matters * Experience in working for large global organization (prefer
