As Lead Front-End Developer you'll be responsible for taking ownership of, confidentially influence the Front-end strategy for a wide-range of websites and in-house systems. You'll bring a hands-on approach to the role alongside a proven track record in developing enterprise-level scale systems and have a good handle on HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SASS, Git and some React experience wouldn't go a miss You'll also be responsible for leading and supporting 2 development teams consisting of around 10 Dev's - made up of a bunch of really talented, front-end engineers. I'm looking for the type of Lead who can motivate their team whilst constantly inspiring better ways of working. This is very autonomous role where you will be expected to take a lot of ownership and make a real difference, therefore I am looking for an Lead Dev who can work with pace and can solve complex problems under pressure in a truly real time environment where requirements can often change at a moments notice You will be an advocate of Agile and passionate about using industry best practices, including solid principles and recognised design patterns - knowing how to apply them in an Enterprise environment.
