Job title : Big Data Engineer Location: Central London Job type: Contract (6 months) Day Rate: DOE Reporting to : Director of Engineering I am currently working with a large, global bank situated in Central London, who are at the forefront of the financial sector. They are looking to bring in a Data Engineer on a 6-month contract (potential to extend) immediately, to assist with an upcoming project. The Big Data Engineer will be responsible for all stages in the software development process and quality control of key outputs. Managing and resolving software issues and taking part in all stages of the test cycle. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills as they will be liaising with several teams, including Data Analytics. You will work well individually and as part of a team and have excellent problem-solving skills.
