Overview

Hays Social Care are looking for an experienced Support Worker for an exciting Temporary to Permanent position Your New Company You will be based in a Residential Home in Carmarthen, which supports Adults with Learning Disabilities and Challenging Behaviour. As an expanding company with great career prospects that promotes training and development of all staff, we are keen to get you on board to help grow your career. The successful candidate will need to have good communication skills and be able to encourage all individuals to participate in a range of leisure activities and educational interests. If you are: Motivated and committed, with a calm approach; A team player with the ability to work at your own initiative; A positive role model to the children and young people; Someone that will be able to react calmly in stressful situations and deal with difficult and challenging behaviours. This is a full time position, and candidates are expected to be complete on average 35 hours per week. The hourly rate for this role upwards of £10 per hour.
