Structured Finance Manager

Job Description Due to our ambitious growth plans, I now have a requirement for a Structured Finance Manager to join our Treasury team on a permanent basis. The role would suit an individual with previous experience or significant exposure to rating agencies within structured finance. The successful individual will be a motivated self-starter with a broad range of technical structured finance and fund raising abilities. . Key Responsibilities Support the Director of Treasury in identifying alternative financing options to diversify and deliver efficiencies to the group funding structure; Propose, negotiate and implement the execution of new, and the refinancing of existing, debt facilities; Adhoc attendance at Group / Divisional Board / ALCO; Preparation and review of cash flow and rating agency models; Be an ambassador of the company, building and maintaining relationships with banks, investors and rating agencies; Assist in the development of the Structured Finance Team and the management of Analysts; Build cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders and work on cross-functional projects where necessary; Lead due diligence meetings with banks, investors and rating agencies ; Assist with enhancing internal controls within the Treasury function, including compliance, regulatory and risk management oversight, and attend relevant industry events; Consider market, macroeconomic and regulatory impacts and update relevant committees where necessary; Take the lead on special projects within the Structured Finance team as appropriate; Coordinate with Treasury Operations Team on collaborative processes. Qualifications Essential Experience Qualified CFA; Demonstrable experience in Structured Finance gained within corporate banking, investment banking, debt advisory, rating agency or equivalent; Extensive experience of structuring both public and private securitisations covering both RMBS and CMBS; Able to build and maintain cash flow and rating agency models; Candidates who can demonstrate experience in the following will be given further consideration: Ability to multi-task and manage competing deadlines; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Ability to work quickly and accurately under time pressure; Ability to communicate financing structures to non-finance professionals.
