Your new company I'm working to recruit a React Developer for a household name in the technology space. In fact I would go as far to say that they are 'THE' name in technology space. With a portfolio of products and services so diverse that even a global pandemic can't slow their recruitment drive, it's a truly unique opportunity. When normal service resumes this will be a full time role in one of their main technology hubs in Basingstoke, but initially given the wider situation it'll be a remote contract-to-perm offer for circa 3 months. You would be paid a pro-rata rate for this period that equates to your permanent salary expectation up to £40000. You will be truly joining a company that live and breathe tech and believe in continual teaching to their staff (both internal and external means). The roles are open to strong juniors right up to lead level as they move from family-feel business to one of the most recognisable names in the area. The office has parking on site and is easily reachable by public transport from most parts of Hampshire and even London. Your new role As mentioned you'll be working for an industry titan and the individuals that fit here live and breathe tech and investigate new trends outside of work, any probably use my clients kit to do so. You'll join a growing, distributed technical team consisting of developers, analysts and product owners spanning multiple continents so it's important you support a modern adoption of Agile. You should relish a working environment where you're in a small delivery team working closely, but connected to an overarching team goal. Specifically you'll be heavily embedded in the marketing and sales groups which have a strong global impact. What you'll need to succeed The ideal candidate will have 2 years' experience as a React developer, preferably with some exposure to creating universal and serverless applications written in Node. Beyond this we'd like Experience creating strong documentation and writing comprehensive unit tests and good working proficiency with webpack. The team write RESTful APIs and HTML/CSS/SASS/SCSS will be second nature to you.
