Overview
Recovery Navigator (Mental Health) x 4 Erdington, Birmingham £17,658 per annum 37.5 hours per week Our client is a leading provider of mental health services in Birmingham and the West Midlands. They are looking for Recovery Navigators to work in partnership with people experiencing mental health difficulties who are currently residing in non-acute in-patient care. You will deliver a person centred recovery approach, in groups or on an individual basis, that focuses on developing, maintaining and strengthening their skills and abilities. Ultimately you will support service users to attain independence in daily living skills in agreement with their individual needs and personal plans, achieving successful outcomes and promoting moving on. They are looking for mental health professionals with experience of assessing and constructing care plans that support people to be in control of their lives. Ideally you will be QCF/NVQ level 3 qualified or have a willingness to work towards this qualification. It is essential that you have an empathy for people experiencing mental health issues and are committed to service user involvement and empowerment. You will have a good understanding of equal opportunities, confidentiality, safeguarding and health & safety. You will need to be flexible due to the shift patterns which include evenings and weekends. Shift patterns include 7.00 am to 3.00 pm and 1.00 pm to 9.00 pm.
