Overview
We have an amazing opportunity for a chef who wants to cook wonderful food and have the perfect work-life balance. Our client is offering a four day week with three consecutive days off, and sociable hours during your days in the kitchen. This is a lovely place to work, based in the vibrant coastal village next to the beach and the New Forest. We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative chef to join a small kitchen brigade in a busy restaurant. You will have creative licence over the menu and daily specials, using fresh locally sourced products. You will be an important part of our team of friendly individuals, where you'll have the opportunity to really shine and create a fantastic role for yourself in our kitchen. Experience using fresh ingredients 2 - 3 years kitchen experience Be able to support the Head Chef and take control of the kitchen in their absence Menu development Experience working with starters, desserts and classic Italian cuisine would be a bonus Fast pace environment Ability to build relationships with local suppliers Due to the location, your own transport is preferred as the nearest train station is a 16 minute bus journey away.
