Overview

The Earl of Essex is seeking Sous Chef to join the team. The role will be full time on an hourly contract with an anticipated 45 - 50 hours per week. The kitchen is open from 12pm everyday for lunch and is busiest on evenings and weekends, and in particular for Sunday roasts. There is potential for an immediate start. We deliver a high standard of pub food and we seek an experienced chef with the following qualities: At least one years experience as chef de partie or sous chef in a pub environment Hard worker and used to running busy shifts Attention to detail and a team player as well as a leader Calm and efficient under pressure Good communication skills Commitment to ongoing training and coaching of the kitchen team Please email your CVs and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
