CDP Required for the award winning, food lead, Alma Pub, Crystal Palace, SE19 We are looking for a CDP with a gastropub, restaurant or scratch food background, who is excited by learning about seasonal food with an interest in desserts and keen to share our passion for high quality and seasonal menu. Someone who is keen to learn from our experienced head chef with a drive to learn and better themselves within our team. We will offer- CDP starting salary of £10/£10.50 plus service charge & pension A good, busy and challenging working environment Training Flexible hours Ideally as a CPD chef and a member of the kitchen team you will be experience in or familiar with; 2-year experience of a quality gastropub or restaurant kitchen environment Food safety & hygiene level 2 COSHH training Excellent team working skills both front and back of house A desire to work hard and learn new and different technics from our head chef. Follow and execute daily prep work Knowledge of seasonal ingredients Basic understanding of G.P’s & portion control To be responsible for your own consistent high quality and timely execution of work within our team We are a privately owned gastropub, busy, award winning, neighbourhood food led pub in the heart of Crystal Palace SE19 with a strong following of regular and happy customers. We offer an quality gasto style menu, excellent and professional customer service in a relaxed atmosphere. We work with only the very best quality ingredients from some of the UK’s best artisan suppliers. Our kitchen is small but well equipped, serving 70 covers inside and 150 in the our all-weather beer garden, requiring forward planning, organisation and efficiency.
