Overview
My client is currently looking for a Paraplanning Manager to join their team in North Wales. The successful candidate will oversee the paraplanning of the group, making it as easy as possible for clients to do business with the group whilst ensuring compliance with all regulatory rules. Principal accountabilities/main responsibilities: Day to day management of the paraplanning team Managing and prioritising workloads, helping out when required Chair and oversee the advice committee and attend other committee meetings as necessary Become the subject matter expert in all areas relating to the advice process Reference point for advanced technical enquiries Undertaking product/platform research and due diligence Keeping suitability reports and other documentation up to date and of the required standard Ensuring that the advice process is as frictionless as possible with agreed processes adhered to by both Advisers and the paraplanning team Ensuring that processes are in place to ensure that we meet all regulatory requirements (MIFID II, IDD etc.) Staff training (alongside external Consultant) Responsible for the file checking process and remedial actions Responsible for collating and acting upon customer satisfaction survey results Feeding back to the board in respect of the paraplanning team and suggesting operational improvements Knowledge and experience: First class technical expertise in a range of different areas of advice Level 4 qualified. (Ideally Level 6 qualified) Detailed knowledge of relevant FCA (including PROD, MIFID II, IDD) and HMRC regulations Experience of managing a high performing team Experience of dealing with demanding clients Ability to read, digest and assimilate information Eye for detail and accuracy Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent presentation skills in front of both small and large groups of clients Monitoring, evaluating and reporting Ability to step back, critique the existing way of working and suggest improvements Cashflow modelling experience Visit the IDEX Consulting Ltd website for further opportunities.
