Office administrator/office manager needed for a company in Haywards Heath to deal with insurance related work and tenders. Client Details Large business in Haywards Heath that has operated across Sussex for a long period of time are looking for an Office manager with a lot of administration knowledge to join their team. Description The key responsibilities of an office manager will be: Processing new employees including pensions enrolments as required Preparing hours and absence information from time sheets for payroll entry Running weekly and monthly payrolls including maintaining absence records Recruitment from placing of adverts for vacancies to processing applications, arranging interviews, issuing job offers and rejection notices Conducting staff inductions and pre-employment checks Liaising with line managers on staff employment issues Taking phone calls and dealing with queries Assisting the Managing Director and General Manager with various ad-hoc matters Occasional ordering of warehouse supplies Profile The successful office manager will have: Proven knowledge as an Office manager, Front office manager or Administrative assistant Knowledge of office administrator responsibilities, systems and procedures Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS Outlook, in particular) Hands on knowledge with office machines (e.g. fax machines and printers) Familiarity with email scheduling tools, like Email Scheduler and Boomerang Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work Attention to detail and problem solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment A creative mind with an ability to suggest improvements Job Offer £20,000-£22,000
