Overview

IT Support Analyst You will join our IT Systems team as an IT Support Analyst – Helpdesk Level 2/3 on a fixed term 6-month contract based at Barbour House, South Shields. This role is service orientated with a strong business system focus and will be an integral part of the IT team - offering system support within the core business systems function, as well as having the capability to support the business across multiple systems and solutions. IT Support Analyst Responsibilities: - Be the first point of contact for business users requiring IT support on business systems. - Manage incident calls through the support desk. - Provide solutions to the business at first point of contact wherever possible. - Follow, author and edit SOPs for incident resolution wherever possible. - Identify and analyse opportunities for improvements in order to reduce the business interruption driving for a more robust and smooth service. -Provide training and guidance to the business where possible to resolve issues. - Develop and maintain knowledge base for business self-service. - Undertake any other reasonable activity, as may be required by senior management. IT Support Analyst Requirements: - Experience supporting business systems including ERPs. - Support of business systems users in an operational environment. - Proactive approach to continuous improvement and problem solving. - A can-do attitude and a service orientated approach. - Resourceful with excellent communication skills.
