Overview

Support Worker Mother and Babies Hounslow £23,200 per annum 40 hours per week Our client is currently seeking Support Workers to work within a service which comprises of 8 self-contained flats catering to single parents and their children. The support worker will be allocated a caseload of 8 Young Parents to key work and support, creating person centred risk assessments , support plans and creatively engaging Young Parents in order to minimise risks and increase their independence living skills. Prospective candidates will also support customers with aspects of parenting skills they may find challenging. Partnership working is essential to the role, support workers are required to build rapport and liaise with all external agencies working with young people. Support workers will be required to compile monthly reports for social services and attend all child protection meetings as needed. The worker will be required to carry out day to day duties including H&S, housing management repair Candidate requirements- experience of working with young mothers and babies, trained in child protection, safeguarding children and adults. Is able to work independently in a lone working service, has enhanced DBS . Working hours- Mon to Wed 9am to 5:00pm, Thursday and Friday Late shift 2pm to 10pm.
