Overview

Our manufacturing Client based in Kent is seeking a skilled Automation Engineer.The role is offered as a permanent position working days, Monday to Friday. Our Client offers an excellent basic salary and benefits package including bonus and health care option. Key Attributes /Skill/Education - essential : · A solid background in Automation and Controls is essential. · Experience with DCS, PLC and SCADA based control systems is a key requirement. · Will have a demonstrated track record with relevant experience working in a regulated industry e.g. Food / Pharmaceuticals. · Working in a cGMP or regulated industry would be desirable. · Good working knowledge of GAMP · Working knowledge of ISA88 Batch standard. · Extensive experience with Siemens PLCs and WinCC SCADA. · Automation project implementation taking a risk-based approach. · Direct involvement in regulatory audits (cGMP and EHS). · Able to form long term relationships with key support groups; QA, engineering, CSV group and senior managers across the site. · Interacts with other functions and sites regarding broader projects. · Good oral, written and presentation skills essential. · Qualification to HND, Degree or equivalent standard (extensive direct hands on experience would also be considered). Key Attributes/Skill/Education - desirable : · Good working knowledge of GAMP or other similar guidelines · Experience with Rockwell Automation ControlLogix and FactoryTalk technology and networking would be distinct advantage. · Project Management experience The role is to provide automation support and lead the automation improvement activities for existing automation control systems used to control and monitor the manufacturing process to ensure business continuity whilst ensuring that the automation control systems remain in validated state.
