Job Description: The purpose of IT capacity management is to ensure that the capacity needs, as well as performance-related targets of IT services and IT infrastructure, are met in a cost-effective manner. My client is after an enthusiastic individual to work as a part of a Capacity Management team which provides Capacity related reporting, analysis and planning to the various client accounts. The job will include general administrative tasks as well as basic capacity reporting and performing maintenance tasks on Capacity Monitoring Tools (predominantly Syscort Athene). Requirements You should have an eye for detail, be self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn. Good knowledge of MS Office suite, especially Excel, and service management system (ITSM or SNOW) is required. The role will require a basic understanding of an IT infrastructure, such as storage, networks, servers, databases and ideally also IBM Mainframe.
