General Manager – Boutique Hotel – East Sussex Coast This newly refurbished boutique inn on the East Sussex coast is now looking for a result driven General Manager to provide the day to day leadership in this boutique hotel which boasts a bar, restaurant and 18 delightful bedrooms. As the hotel has recently re-opened and is under new ownership, a forward-thinking individual is required, who can drive a sales and operations strategy in the short, medium and long-term. To excel in this role, you must be an approachable and detailed-orientated individual with proven hospitality and hotel management experience. The ideal candidate will also demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills. This role will provide the opportunity and freedom to carve out the success of the business and is therefore suited to someone with the ambition to lead and succeed. This is an environmentally conscious establishment and the General Manager will need to be of a similar mindset You will wish to take ownership of this business, managing your personnel and monitoring their development and training to ensure a productive and cohesive team, who strive to exceed service expectations. You will have a good operational knowledge of room rates, booking systems, as well as food and beverage to enable you to enhance the fifty-seat restaurant and two bars.
