Job Title: Senior Sous Chef – Sri Lankan cuisine Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Location: London Who will you be working for? An independent restaurant based in the heart of Soho that specialises in authentic modern Sri Lankan cuisine. The food is fresh, seasonal and presented to a high standard using traditional and modern cooking techniques to get the very best out of the ingredients. What are we looking for? A Senior Sous Chef who has a passion and experience working with Asian cuisine and be confident working with authentic, fresh ingredients. You’ll also need to be comfortable in working within a fast-paced restaurant environment as well as having a natural flair for leadership in helping to manage the brigade alongside the Head Chef. Desirable Qualities: Be an experienced Snr Sous/Sous Chef with ambitions to become Head Chef of a new site within the next 6 months Possess a strong understanding and working knowledge of Asian and/or Sri Lankan cuisine Have recent central London restaurant experience, ideally within a busy, independent venue Have an excellent handle on all areas of food safety and health & hygiene procedures Be looking for a stable career with loads of growth potential Does this sound like you?
