Sommelier – KOL Restaurant – New Opening KOL is one of the most anticipated restaurant openings of 2020 and we are looking for experienced and enthusiastic Sommeliers to join the team. KOL is a contemporary fine dining restaurant that will reimagine Mexican cuisine using the best of British ingredients. From Chef Patron Santiago Lastra (formerly Noma Mexico Head Chef and Mugaritz), KOL will serve an a la carte menu at lunch and tasting menu in the evenings. In addition to the restaurant, the space will also house a Mezcaleria downstairs with one of London's most interesting spirit lists and a Chef's table providing a tailored dining experience for groups. If you have the following, then we want to hear from you: - Prior experience as a Sommelier within a high quality restaurant; - Strong knowledge of wine regions and styles, an interest in biodynamics is favourable; - Knowledge of Agave spirit production; - Eagerness to roll your sleeves up and get stuck in; - A creative approach with impeccable attention to detail; - Passion for beverage, food and hospitality, along with the eagerness to continually learn; - The desire to develop your career within an ambitious and trend-setting restaurant group; This job was originally posted as www.caterer.com/job/89842937
