Head Chef, £36,000, Exclusive Restaurant Group, Manchester. Head Chef required for this busy all fresh Restaurant in Manchester. Part of a growing group, your role would involve working closely with the company's Executive Chef. You will be involved with weekly meetings, menu development, staff training plus all the usual Head Chef duties. You will manage a large kitchen team. Excellent company to work for with good growth opportunities. JOB DESCRIPTION A competent Head Chef is needed for this very busy kitchen, to maintain the high standards put in place in the operation, work in a dynamic and professional team, to develop a strong kitchen brigade, organising and presenting the food and to supervise, manage and control the kitchen. Vibrant kitchen team, working in all areas and sections. Producing a vast array of different foods and cuisines, covering restaurant dinning to large corporate banquets and functions. Many opportunities to learn and develop skills, giving invaluable experience to a large kitchen brigade. Excellent work environment with emphasise placed on training, development, team work and job satisfaction. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Knowledge of paperwork is a must as this is very much a management position. STABILITY IS VITAL. Good team management skills are needed and experience in a similar position is essential. A proven track record, strong development, career driven with fresh ideas will express drive, success and passion for the position.
