Commis Chef Country Inn with Rooms £21,700 Tips Live In Available Company information: Are you an aspiring chef who is looking for a new exciting opportunity? My client is an independently owned country inn with rooms within the Reading/Newbury Area. They serve a mixture of British, European and Asian inspired flavours on its fresh seasonal menu. What you’ll be doing: As a Commis Chef you will be supporting the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Chef de Parties with the day-to-day food production using fresh and seasonal ingredients. You'll be rotating through sections such as sauce, vegetables, fish and butchery. You will also be preparing, cooking and presenting various dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner service. Commis Chef Requirements: Must have previous experience as a Kitchen Porter or Commis Chef Preferably you will have experience within a fresh food kitchen environment. You will have a passion for food. You will be confident within the kitchen. Show flexibility in and around the kitchen. You will need to show great communication skills. Ability to follow instruction from senior staff. Due to the business location, own transport is a must. Package for Commis Chef: £21,700 dependent on experience. Share of tips £3,000p.a. Approx. Potential Live in for the right candidate You will work 5 days over 7 with 2 full days off per week Gain experience in this high profile kitchen. Work with a dedicated and driven brigade.
