Job title: Commis/Demi Chef de Partie Salary: Up to 22,000 GBP Tronc bonus (around £4k) Location: Yattendon, Berkshire Type of contract: Permanent Workplace description: This beautiful country pub with rooms is nestled in the picturesque countryside of West Berkshire. Simple, unfussy, Michelin rated food, ten luxurious bedrooms, award winning real ales, roaring log fires and a quite beautiful walled beer garden await, all within easy access of Newbury, Reading, Heathrow and the M4. Main duties and responsibilities: You will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of food (starters & deserts) to high standards, while maintaining a clean, safe and tidy work environment at all times. You should be able to work as part of a team as well as showing your own initiative. A passion for food is a must and you should be able to inspire others with your flair and individuality. Essential criteria: You will have a passion for the industry and attention to detail. You must also have an excellent attitude and the willingness to learn and be looking to develop your career. The desire to get on in the industry is more important than your previous experience.
