Overview

Senior Performance Analyst sought by international mining business. This will be a 6 month FTC paying between £60-£70k and based in Central London. This is a great opportunity to join a global division of a mining business based in fantastic central London offices. The focus of this role is to provide commercially value adding financial advice and support to maintain a strong financial performance for the division. The main responsibilities of this Senior Performance Analyst include: Produce actuals, budgets and forecast reporting Working with other FBP's and cost centre owners so that the budget holders are clear on the financial position of their areas of accountability. Prepare the consolidated actuals, budgets and forecast reporting Manage SAP, cost centres and responsibilities effectively to ensure effective cost management across the disciplines mentioned above.Prepare the consolidated actuals, budgets and forecast reporting Understand the key cost drivers within the functions and reflect on the risks impacting these in the reporting and analysis, applying rigorous commercial and business thinking to decision making in order to generate value. Liaise with HR on a monthly basis regarding employee headcount to analyse monthly performance and develop budgets/forecasts. Prepare and responsible for the monthly consolidation of two regions covering 12 plus countries. Responsible for the preparation and submission to HFM of all financial data of the Business Unit for actuals, budgets (including 5 year plan) and forecasts. Identify key financial risks and ensure appropriate controls are implemented and subsequently monitored. Liaise effectively with key contacts in other Finance Functions, Group Functions and Shared Services, building strong working relationships to maximise efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure that the Performance Reporting Managers and Discipline Finance Business Partners are seamlessly informed and aligned on key issues. The ideal candidate for this Senior Performance Analyst role will have/be: A qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or Equivalent Previous experience business partnering with financial and non-financial stakeholders Strong ERP experience Ideally will have worked in a large business or FTSE listed company Excellent communication skills
