Position:Senior .Net Developer (with Python) Location: Central London – City (with some home working) Salary: £55 – 65K UK Employee Benefits Summary Our Clients Software Engineers are responsible for delivering solutions for essential everyday services that rapidly transform customer experience and improve operational efficiency.They have an urgent need for a permanent Senior .Net Developer to work on a very high profile customer site in the City as part of an ongoing project. Role Responsibilities include: · Participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies with 3 week sprints, contribute to daily stand ups · Build a pipeline of data ingestion, validation and analysis applications (Spark and Hadoop) · Low level design, development and unit testing, contributing to ongoing technical designs · Ongoing contribution alongside collaborative project team to deliver against project objectives Our Client Our Client delivers complete digital solutions to highly regulated organisations making them the trusted partner to deliver design driven digital transformation, (to sectors including Central UK Government, Local UK Government, Financial Services etc.) About You Essential Skills: Eligible to achieve SC clearance, (5 years UK residence) 5 years commercial software development experience (.Net, C#, SQL Server) · Entity Framework · Python (ideally experience with PySpark, PyCharm) · Strong Agile SDLC experience · Hadoop technologies including Spark and Hive · Linux · TFS · Awareness of R (RStudio, RShiny and SparkR) would be highly desirable (or an ability to learn) Desirable skills: · Experience in Bedrock/Linux distributions This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89883986
