Overview
Fire and Security Systems Engineer I am currently working with a specialist Luton based Fire and Security company that are on the look out for a Lead Install engineer. This is a position that is hoping to progress into more a Technical Director role to work alongside the MD. This would be local work operating with no on call rota ideal for someone that is wanting to improve their work life balance. Salary – £30,000.00 to £35,000.00 /year Hours – 40hr per week, 8.00am to 5.00pm Monday to Friday Location – Luton Benefits: - NO CALL OUT - Travelling only in and around Luton - Competitive base salary - Commission Scheme for upselling of parts - Company Van Experience: · Fire and Security Engineering: 5 years (Preferred) · Ability to demonstrate a working knowledge of various intruder panels, eg galaxy, scantronic. · Network/IP based product experience · A good understanding of the British Standards for Fire. · Both installation and maintenance skills are required. · Ability to work well on own initiative Duties: · Servicing and maintaining various intruder, fire, CCTV and access control systems. · Working with the administration team to update daily jobs, complying with company policies · and work instructions. · Maintaining an accurate and high standard of paperwork. · Ensuring all health and safety requirements are met and working to the current industry Standards: · Working towards and exceeding maintenance and fault-finding skills first time fix · Demonstrate systems for customers and explain details such as the causes and consequences of false alarms. Must have and continue to have at all times: · have a valid right to work in the UK, · hold a valid UK driving licence, · successful screening check.
