Overview
Our client, a top 100 city practice, is currently seeking a construction solicitor to assist their successful team in London. The role is due to start as soon as possible and will likely run for 3 months, with the potential of extension. The successful candidate will have substantial non-contentious construction experience, working for a wide range of clients including; corporate and commercial organisations, investors and developers, industry bodies and private healthcare providers. You will be working closely with partners in the team, drafting and negotiating schedules of amendments to JCT contracts for works in excess vaule of £1 for both refurbishments and new builds, assist with construction finance, drafting standard form contracts (RIBA, NEC, JCT) and EPC contracting. You will ideally have previous experience supervising junior solicitors. The ideal candidate will have upwards of 4 PQE non-contentious construction experience gained from a top city background.
