Job description In this Construction Project Management job, you will be joining a small but rapidly growing start-up, who's property team at the front of the businesses growth taking a range of tired & run-down buildings including old churches, bingo halls, office buildings & schools across London and transform them into state-of-the-art nurseries. Within this role you will be working on all aspects of construction delivery, from design & planning, detailed drawings, onsite contractor delivery & hand-over to operational teams as well as working to deliver projects on-time & on-budget delivery of projects, giving you high levels of autonomy to deliver within the role. As the projects are complex with multiple-stakeholders this role requires exceptional organisational skills, communication and Project Management skills. Key responsibilities In this Construction Project Manager position in London, your responsibilities will include: * You'll be supporting the property team leader in the development of our new sites, involved in many aspects of construction delivery, from design & planning, detailed drawings, onsite contractor delivery & hand-over to our operational teams. * You'll be given targets around on-time & on-budget delivery of projects & given high levels of autonomy to deliver within the role. * The projects you'll be assisting with will be complex with multiple-stakeholders (architects, contractors, investors, surveyors etc, alongside internal stakeholders, including the CEO & Board of Directors) * You'll be responsible for up to 10 construction ensuring project plans are kept up to date and accurate Project documentation, drawings, contracts etc ensuring the whole project team are delivering in line with the project programme * You'll be required to attend regular project and progress meetings, with responsibility for taking notes & ensuring action plans are written up and communicated post-meetings. * You'll have oversight for the administration of the building contract & project documentation, assist in the production of project management plans and programmes. * You'll also be working with the expansion lead, helping to pull together new * site investment memorandums & undertaking the commercial due diligence on new sites Job requirements * Prior experience, with a track record of project delivery in a previous Project Management experience within the construction sector * A university degree, in property or land related subject ideally in with a specialism in Construction Management, Project Management or similar technical discipline or have transferable skills * A passion for organisation and operations, and the ability to juggle multiple projects * Sharp financial awareness - budgets and reporting and ability to analyse figures * Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple tasks is a must * Impeccable attention to detail and enjoys getting stuck into lots of different jobs projects * A good understanding of 'innovation' and how it can deliver value to the team * Design experience desirable * You must be personable, friendly and display a willingness to ramp up and put in extra effort when workloads are high and deadlines are looming * Adaptable and flexible with a desire to take on additional responsibility Benefits of the job * A fantastic starting salary of £30,000 - £35,000 * Lots of opportunities for career progression * Access to benefits and other member activities * Great team spirit, events and socials * Up to 33 days holiday a year (including bank holidays) * Ideally located offices based in Shoreditch Construction Project Manager jobs on your radar?
