Residential Conveyancer | Birmingham | up to £35,000 | Genuine Career Progression THE FIRM A recognised and reputable law firm based in Birmingham is seeking a Residential Conveyancer to join its thriving and friendly team one of its many offices. With over 190 staff across 7 offices, this firm prides itself on providing high quality legal services across a range of disciplines. Due to growth, the firm is now seeking to hire a conveyancing assistant to provide effective support to the fee earners. THE ROLE Joining a thriving and progressive team, your role will be fundamental in ensuring the smooth running of a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters. Your role will include; · Managing a caseload of residential property matters from inception through to conclusion; including sales & purchase, remortage, transfers of equity, right to buy, shared ownership schemes and lease extensions · Liaising with clients both on the phone and face to face · Business development and maintaining existing relationships with clients · Achieving realistic billing targets THE REQUIREMENTS This role would be suited to someone who has previous experience within residential conveyancing whether in a solicitor, licensed conveyancer or CILEX. In addition you will have the following; · A minimum of 12 months experience as a residential conveyancing as a fee earner · Demonstrate commercial awareness and proven track record of achieving billing targets · Demonstrate high attention to detail and initiative · Have excellent time management skills and be able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines In return, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, genuine career progression and excellent benefits package.
