Funds Senior Lawyer : You will be encouraged to have direct clients and become actively involved in client and business development initiatives in this Top 20 law firm. The Funds team are looking to grow, alongside the significantly vastly growing teams in the Corporate department. You will be working with FTSE 350 clients and the largest financial and private individuals given you all the responsibility to progress your career. The Role This is an exciting opportunity for a Funds Senior Lawyer to join this Top 20 law firms City of London office and be part of a wider award-winning Employment Group. The corporate department as a whole span across the UK and Internationally and is well recognised as a leading Corporate department in Chambers & Partners. You will work with FTSE 350 and companies of equivalent size, institutions, successful businesses and private individuals on a wide range of legal needs. The Private Funds team are particularly looking to strengthen and are ideally looking for a Managing Associate or Senior Associate to join them. You will be working in growing the wide range of fund formation, fund investment and fund restructuring matters for a mixture or domestic and European clients. You can expect to be involved in all aspects of private funds work including fund reviews/negotiating LPs investments in a range of private funds; fund formation work including structuring, preparing core fund documentation. You will be encouraged to have direct clients and become actively involved in client and business development initiatives. You will be given significant scope to progress and contribute to the wider success of the firm. The Requirements You will be a Funds Associate with at least 5 years PQE (There is no upper limit for the level of PQE and more senior candidates will be taken into account for a senior position) You will be currently working within a City or International practice. Excellent drafting and communication skills. Worked in a respectable Employment group.
