Mechanical Design Engineer

Compass Resourcing are seeking a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer for our Bradford client, a manufacturer of capital equipment – industrial process machinery. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a lead role with a long established business who design and manufacture bespoke process equipment for manufacturers throughout the world. The role is an interesting one, where you will work on the design of bespoke equipment, dealing direct with the customer to understand requirements, producing detailed drawings for layout and manufacture. You’ll also have opportunity to see the project through, progressing thorough design and manufacture through to delivery and install. There’ll be occasional international travel to customer factories. Required is a Mechanical Design Engineer, with 2 years’ experience as a minimum in the design of machinery for industrial use. You’ll have a strong attention to detail, and be an effective and credible communicator. This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to carve out a career in machinery design and play a key role in the continued development of the business This is a permanent role to start ASAP. Standard working hours are 8-4pm, with some flexibility around this. All Health & Safety risks will be covered in induction.
