We are currently looking a Manager for our Data Management & Support Team within Balance Sheet Strategy. Reporting to the Senior Manager and based at our Yorkshire Drive office in Bradford, the main purpose of the role is to support the Society’s model development and balance sheet management areas through the on-going development and maintenance of a data warehouse in SAS. What You'll Do You will join an established team and support them in the ongoing development of the overall data strategy for Balance Sheet Management. You will be expected to lead on strategic deliveries and provide coaching and support to analysts in the team. In addition to being a primary point of contact for the Data Store users, across the Group, on technical aspects of data management related activity with respect to the Balanced Sheet Management area. How You’ll Do It • Educated to degree level in analytical or numerical related area of study • Expert understanding of data management and control processes • Expert knowledge in data management tools such as SAS. • Good knowledge of the requirements of the key areas of Balanced Sheet Management; - Capital - Liquidity - Market - Behavioural Models • Expert knowledge of the data management regulatory reporting requirements. • Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills with excellent attention to detail • Ability to work well within a team and excellent self-management skills. • VBA knowledge an advantage • Delivery focused – ability to work to tight deadlines. • Ability to convert strategic priorities and goals into operational plans • Ability to work with autonomy and make operational decisions Life at YBS In addition to the usual benefits such as competitive salary, annual bonus and healthcare packages we offer you… Flexibility – Whether it’s picking up the kids from school or catching that early morning yoga session we have you covered.
